Dr. Kathy Sienko O.B.E. has 31 years’ international healthcare experience gained in public and private sector healthcare in clinical, operational and strategic roles across all healthcare sectors. She also spent almost a decade working in leadership positions in Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 companies in London and Europe, including Cerner Corporation and British Telecom.

In addition to being a clinician, Dr. Sienko served as adjunct faculty at City University London and New Buckinghamshire University in the UK. Dr. Kathy was one of the first nurse consultants to be appointed in the UK and was a Smith & Nephew Research Scholar and a Department of Health Mary Seacole Leadership Scholar. In 2001 she was honored by HRH Queen Elizabeth with the Order of the British Empire (O.B.E) for her contribution to UK healthcare. In 2008, she was appointed as a public appointments ambassador for the UK Government Equalities Office. Dr. Kathy gained her BSc (Honors) in nursing from Kings College London, a Master’s degree from University of Southampton UK and a Doctorate from Middlesex University UK. She is Fellow of the Institute of Leadership & Management, a Member of the Royal College of Nursing and of the European Mentoring & Coaching Council and is qualified to administer and interpret the Myers-Briggs Type Inventory (MBTI©). Dr. Sienko is a respected thought leader, researcher and conference speaker on Patient and Employee Experience, on Advanced Nursing Practice and on the Nursing and Midwifery contribution to national and global healthcare priorities.
